Our most recent and purposeful project to date with out doubt.  Architectually designed Green Oak Frame accommodating for wheel chair access, Huge sliding doors, Zinc roof and solar powered skylights. 

A young Architectural technicians property, single storey apartment in central Exeter made into an open plan modern living space, vaulted ceiling, exposed timber and steel beams.  A new bathroom and kitchen finished with our hand cast Concrete worktops.

4 Weeks in Derbyshire and we created a gorgeous fully insulated Garden Room and an Outdoor Kitchen area with Pizza oven!  Green Oak timber frame structures provided by Lifespace Cabins, Dry fixed Glazing and sawn Larch cladding with simple galvanised roofing sheets.

Replacement of an existing front Sunroom on a large Countryside Home with great effort to keep it looking as if it was original.  Masonary Dwalf walls and joinery matching the moulds and chamfers of its predecessor.

Single storey bedroom and ensuite extension to a 70's bungalow with limited access.  All hand dug square pads with 5º degree Pier Foundations.  Lightweight timber stick frame structure and Modern Oak cladding, 3.2m Bifold doors and Epdm rubber roof system.

When the clients are both artistic and we love to build creatively you can get some amazing results!!

Design studios with polished concrete floors, folded metal staircase, crital windows and reclaimed wood walling.

Rolemop Lead hips and ridge, Reclaimed Delibole Slate, dry fixed Skylights and locally sourced horizontal Larch Cladding allow the exterior of this Kitchen extension to blend beautifully into the south coast holiday cottage.

Green Oak timber frame garden room and garage for a lovely retired couple looking to spend less time working in the garden and more time looking at the garden.  

This extension for a growing family near the seaside allows practical space for kitchen and dining.  Timber stud side walls with render and a Douglas Fir timber frame double Glazed Gable.

The largest Green Oak frame project we have had the pleasure of taking on.  Carpenter Oak frame, 5ºdegree managed the rest of the 3 Bay Garage, Large workshop with solid Oak staircase, balcony with fantastic upper gable glazing looking over the rolling hills of Haldon forest.

If Roderic James Architects asks if you can build a house on a small budget, half Corrugated Steel and half locally sawn timber clad, with an air source heat pump, borehole water supply and all the trimmings in the middle of the moor...     we put the whole thing together for the client.

Beautiful project for some beautiful clients right on the edge of Haytor.  With the removal of an exterior stone wall we installed steel structures and minimal picture framing Joinery to retain the gorgeous view.

A Photography Studio near Salcombe which needed to look agricultural on the exterior but clean and crisp on the interior inc Kitchen, bathroom and log burner.  Weathered timber Cladding and Galvinised roof sheeting.

Granite stone walled extension, white painted render, reclaimed delibole slated mono pitch roof and hardwood painted joinery.  Glazed walkway held aloft by larch rafters on reclaimed Granite pillars.

An Orangery situated as a fantastic view point looking out across the large garden terrace.  Douglas Fir frame by Emanuelhendry, with its simple lines and a impressive glass panel set in the roof for late night star gazing.

Size isn't everything, as this cute little cottage in Totnes proves. You can have a timber frame even in a small space.  Hand crafted Kitchen with units made to measure in this unique space.  We also revived the entrance to make it more welcoming.

Three Oak Arches and retaining Oak posts hand carved for an outstanding garden design show piece.  Traditional Oak peg mortices and tenons.

We fabricate built in carcases and apply Micro-Cement render to give the appearance of solid concrete. We Polish and seal it for different applications.  Available in a variety of colours... mostly Grey!

When a huge Coffee company is looking for some display stands, who else are they going to ask to make accurate Ply based Cabinets that can be dismantled and re-assembled for several food shows in America...  5ºDEGREES!

Solid concrete can be an awesome finish to a kitchen if applied correctly.

We have installed several kitchens recently along with our new skill of polished concrete worktops.  Drainage groves, sink & hob cut outs all done off site and installed with no mess.
